Now, it's common for alligators to roam the swamps of Florida with some even ending up in the pools of residents. But nothing this size has ever been recorded in the U.S. with only a certain version of its species being at the top. Alligator's of this magnitude are usually found in tropical forest like plains with photo's online showing them captured alive and restrained. Usually with what seems to be the intent to relocate them in order to protect small villages from attacks. Which wouldn't be uncommon for small towns to do in the states.
Back in the 90's there was a successful movie called Lake Placid which was based on an Alligator of this nature. Capable of dangerous feats which included hunting and taking out a grizzly bear at will. However, it seemed to be the thing of myth much like the Anaconda was in those days until a little research led to some interesting discoveries. Revealing not only did the Anaconda exist but they were many and now it seems the same could be said about this giant Alligator.
Any thoughts and do you think the Giant Alligator From Florida was real or was it just another elaborate hoax for all of us to feed on?
