However, the original slot never really ended on a strong point despite being the epic run around story that it was. Fans complained that the series ended on a very soft note and made it known to the creators. But I’m sure with David being one of the writers on the show there may have been some future planning that no one knew about. Like let’s say making a comeback for a second series with an even more recognizable cast then it was before. One things for sure and that’s if fox manages to land every one they had before and it works out, this could spark other revamps. Like maybe that Buffy Series everyone keeps demanding for online.
It’s just surprising that it isn’t spoken about more with all of the chitter chatter about these kind of topics in the world. The show really kind of fits in the element of that trend and it often makes me wonder if it was created before for that same reason. With all the new stories that emerged in the world ever since X-Files ended it would be fascinating to see what subjects they tackle this time. So far it’s been said that it will have a 6 episode slot the same way Gotham started. Which makes sense if people don’t end up finding the TV show appealing enough to keep on air. But I highly doubt that will be the case if they do it right and amp up what I used to believe was a little too dull to watch for my taste.
But it’s certainly fitting for law and order fans to watch if they take that road again.
