However not many of those high grade options allow script modifications unless a member is willing to pay up front to get what they need. Which clearly can make or break a site when it comes to trying to build a community to interact with. Weebly trumps all other blogging platforms when it comes to modification. However there are some drawbacks that can lead a blogger away from the term we have all come to know as the “Free Option”.
A) RSS feeds need to be manually edited in order to avoid being nonexistent online
B) Subscribers fall entirely on the Blogger to manage which would require signing up to other services
C) There is no community provided to connect back and forth with like Wordpress
D) Each post must be “Pinged” after being created to ensure emails reach subscribers and “Backlinks” must be created per post in order for content to compete in search engine listings
Those are just four things to consider when using this site to create a blog from scratch. That’s despite being the easier solution in terms of having a drag and drop feature. But the only thing that couldn’t be resolved here for around 5 - 10 bucks online is the community issue. That is unless you already happen to have a fan base or another way to draw in subscribers like youtube channels. If not then the only two options a blogger has to reach out to readers is using two 3rd party sites to help promote posts. The way to do this is to
A) Join Bloglovin which is a blog community website where bloggers can easily connect, promote and subscribe to one another from many different web hosting sites. It also helps with SEO from search engine results if one manages to successfully submit a site on there.
B) Create a promotion Wordpress blog in order to lure in subscribers from that hosting site by re-blogging those member’s posts and mixing it in with the posts from Weebly that needs exposure. This would require more writing yes, but in terms of providing a promo for an article that is worth mentioning, it’s really no different than giving that post a shout out. The Wordpress promotional blog will garner attention from the very people that are getting re-blogged and will attract those viewers to the promo posts that mention the weebly blog articles. Just make sure to add a Subscribe button of the Weebly site in those promo posts in order to give wordpresser’s the gate way and option to sign up.
Last but not least - the tricky thing about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which if not handled properly can determine the outcome of what a site will look like online. Usually the basic method revolves around submitting the web address A.K.A URL to Google and Bing Webmaster Tools. They provide the codes that's needed for the header of a Weebly site which can be placed in the SEO settings area. Look up a tutorial video online for assistance on how to go about that. This is where the claiming a spot online usually stops but with a Weebly Blog there are few more things to consider.
