You'd figure there should have been an alternative for this way of promotion by now. But it seems like it ain't going away any time soon. Sometimes, I even wonder how many cringe at the fact that they are being duped left and right. But it seems not enough has been said to create any sort of change. This most commonly happens on platforms like FB and recently the site has considering making changes to combat this sort of thing.

X-Files goose chase for everyone I presume unless they chose to just stick to the general consensus. Because I'm guessing most arguments these days are motivated by one trying to outdo the other rather than aiming to see what they can learn from others. Making the exchange of words much like the Daredevil Reporters statement about static on the web. That is unless you were the one person who became a little smarter by taking what was learned from the debate.
