But now a days the importance of Grammar is a big deal and of course that would be the case when society is evolving with the times. So this brings me back to my specific curiosity because there were a couple of people who felt the dialog of novels should match the specific lingo of the area it takes place. It’s not uncommon for writers to do research in order to provide readers with great material considering mistakes can hurt a great piece of work. But when a writer just wants to provide a story in the language they understand then the only alternative is for the content to be revised.
Which of the two would be accepted is beyond me even though I was told it depended on where a writer planned on marketing the novels.
Hopefully readers can be more flexible someday in order to allow more leg room for writers to focus solely on better story telling.
Any thoughts fellow readers?
