But what escapes the narrow minded type is believing they know everything while dismissing anything that is not being taught by a specific individual. Specifically the type who ask 5 questions based around one subject that maybe we happened to bring up while we were trying to have a discussion. And it's not cause they don't understand us, sometimes it's so they can find something with in what we were saying that relates to their world.
So they pick at us and pretty much hang on our every word hoping we could talk more like them instead of allowing us to express ourselves the way we know how to. Because lets be real, If someone was really interested in what we had to say they'd just listen and learn. But it's not like that for someone who isn't observant and just wanders around until they find something that interests them.
Because that's probably all that matters to them - what interests them and I guess in a personal aspect there's nothing wrong with that. That is until they suddenly insist on throwing stones at others. Like that kind of person who'd rather not explore something new and just looks at us ugly when we suggest something to do with them. And then they want to complain about how board they are all the time.
The craziest thing about this version of a person is that they act like know it all's who never listen to reason. Never knowing they could just be demonstrating insecure tendencies inspired by a transparent fear of potentially being manipulated. Yet, they go home happy they didn't listen to what anyone had to say because to them the world is full of scam artists and no one is like them. So not only do they place themselves on some imaginary pedestal but they believe themselves strong and justified for it.
What do you think, have you ever come across someone like this?
